My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the azalaï hotel in Dakar in January and we loved it. The premises are in excellent condition. The service and the food is amazing. Someone opened the door of the taxi and someone else took us to our room, I forgot his name, he was very helpful, giving us all the informations and phone numbes needed and showing us how the TV works, I felt very pampered straight from the beginning. We were checked in by Moussa who was very helpful, especially sorting out the WiFi for us. We had a room with a balcony with ocean view which was really nice. The room was spacious, the bathroom with walk-in shower was great. The bed was comfortable, we slept well. I used the gym in the morning, it had everything you need and it was clean. The infinity swimming pool was very nice and with lifeguards and the big screen with the football on was great. Aziz at the bar was amazing and attentive and Kevin our waiter was great. We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, Elhadji, Fatima and Turpin took good care of us and made our stay special. The breakfast buffet is perfect, it's got everything you could possibly want from savoury to sweet. They have an egg station with the lady making omelettes, fried eggs or anything egg related. Awa was lovely and made sure we had a good breakfast. I also used the spa with an extra charge. I bought the 1 hour pass, including sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. It was great. The hotel is very well staff and very secure with a lot of security. The overall feel of the hotel is very luxurious. I highly recommend.

Soggiornato presso questo hotel per una settimana durante un viaggio di lavoro. Sono stata estremamente soddisfatta della scelta, perché l’hotel si trovi al di fuori del centro. Considerando che comunque a Dakar ci si muove prevalentemente in taxi, questo non è stato un problema, mentre è stato piacevole trovarsi e non luogo abbastanza tranquillo dove è stato possibile passeggiare lungo il mare. Le camere sono belle e il letto è molto comodo, il Wi-Fi è ottimo, gli spazi comuni sono abbastanza funzionali, la colazione è ottima e abbondante e anche i servizi di ristorazione non sono male. Funziona anche molto bene il servizio di organizzazione eventi. La terrazza con la piscina che verso il mare è molto fruibile, anche se purtroppo il mare si trova aldilà di una massicciata di blocchi di cemento, cosa che ne riduce il fascino.

Je séjourne dans cet hôtel depuis son ouverture et j'ai constaté qu'il se détériore beaucoup trop vite. Il n'est pas encore complètement délabré, mais les matériaux intérieurs se détériorent à une vitesse alarmante. Sinon, il est très bien. La propreté est toujours impeccable, le service excellent et le personnel très poli et aimable. Le seul point à améliorer serait de déplacer le coin cuisine où sont préparées les omelettes, situé dans un coin du salon. En effet, au petit-déjeuner, lorsqu'on y cuisine, on finit par se tacher de nourriture.
